The consultation period for the Brazilian Central Bank regarding the accounting standards for virtual assets will continue until August 24. The main content of the draft resolution is as follows: definitions of initial recognition and subsequent measurement criteria, accounting treatment of issued virtual assets and third-party virtual assets under custody, as well as detailed information on changes in the value of issued assets, the nature of the assets, and related obligations disclosed in the explanatory notes.
