FTX creditors warn: beware of low-price acquisition, with an annual interest rate of 9% accumulated.
On July 7, during an interview, FTX's large creditor Will stated: "If a third-party institution buys your claim, your original country of holding will no longer be considered when determining compensation eligibility. Some creditors suggest selling their claims to addresses with compliance qualifications, and some so-called 'claim agents' or intermediaries, especially a considerable portion of whom are also Chinese, continuously sell anxiety to the community throughout this process, creating panic in various ways, thereby driving down the price of the claims. In such an environment, many already very anxious friends are forced to choose to sell their claims at low prices.
The arbitrage space is conservatively estimated to be between 20% and 30%. In the bankruptcy liquidation of FTX, the debt is calculated based on an annual interest accumulation of 9%, so how much can ultimately be recovered will depend on the time dimension and the scale of the assets that can be recovered.
