According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on July 6, reported by Decrypt, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) of India arrested a 35-year-old engineer from Kerala, Edison, who is suspected of operating the country's largest dark web drug trafficking group and using Monero to conceal transactions. Indian authorities seized over $82,000 in crypto assets during Operation 'MELON'. For the past two years, the suspect has been operating a dark web drug trafficking gang under the nickname 'Ketamelon'. It is alleged that Edison procured drugs from global suppliers, laundered the proceeds through the Privacy Coin Monero (XMR), and transported drugs across India.
